Rafa is a cultural and creative agent with a certification endorsed by SEDECULTA* and UTM** through UNESCO’s International Fund for Cultural Diversity. Promoting art and culture in the state, he produces photographs and videos of various themes that advocate culture, art, and sustainable tourism in Yucatán.

As the general director of the production house Bessanova Producciones, Rafa created the Bessanova Aerial Eye™ project in 2019. Producing images with environmental, cultural, and social themes from an aerial perspective. The project includes video documentaries, exploratory trips, and aerial photography based on Rafa’s vision of “knowing what the world would look like if we could fly.”

A producer, director, photographer, drone pilot, graduate in social communication, master’s degree in business planning, and certified artist, Rafa’s experience is extensive. He debuted the “Views of the Yucatán” exhibition at the 2022 Noche Blanca event at SoHo Galleries in Mérida. He likes books, nature, video games, unique stories, collections, and dark chocolate.
